Skype's Disk Activity

I have a rather weird issue with Skype on my desktop computer. If it's running - even in the background I hear the hard disk ticking. When I close the Skype the ticking stops.

Checking in the Task Manager Skype is accessing my disk with around 0.1 Mbytes / s rate, which I found a bit unusual.

I tried moving the following folders to a RAM disk, by replacing them in the original place with symbolic link pointing to a folder in the RAM disk:

%APPDATA%\Roaming\Skype
mklink Skype X:\Skype /D

%APPDATA%\Local\Temp\Skype
mklink Skype X:\Skype-temp /D

C:\Users\\Tracing
mklink Tracing X:\Tracing /D

It seems that all of this helped a bit, but still remained some disk activity, but from System process. OK, maybe the Skype has some weird memory management, that causes constant access to pagefile, or as one friend said, Skype is spying on me :) .
